The Community Power Network has led to Port Pirie Council being invited to present as a representative of one of 20 councils at an upcoming Better Futures Australia online event, Lift Your Gaze: Australian Local Government Climate Action on the World Stage.

This event will include Australian and International perspectives on the importance of COP26 to the local government sector. There will also be a range of very short presentations from local governments around the country on their successes and the opportunities they see in taking ambitious action on climate change.

When: Thursday 19 November from 10:30 am - 12 pm (Sydney time).

20 leading councils from across Australia will share insights from their work.
